Share A Meal’s mission is to build caring communities through mobile kitchens selflessly sharing meals and basic necessities with the underserved.

+333,600 meals served

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to make a positive impact. Our mobile kitchens are food trucks that arrive on a regular schedule every weekday, rain or shine, at different locations around the city where the homeless populations are concentrated. Volunteers meet at these locations and help roll burritos they then serve to those in need. With loving hearts, kind words, and smiles, volunteers also offer water, socks, blankets, toiletries, and other necessities.

The volunteer experience is one of humility and an uplifting of their consciousness. The homeless feel humanized and keep their hopes and dreams alive.

"You don’t just serve meals to us, you also restore our faith and trust in humanity."

Service nights are operating on a limited basis to comply with new health & safety guidelines related to COVID-19

In order to support our volunteer service nights, we host food truck fundraisers around the LA area.

With loving hearts, kind words, and smiles, volunteers serve burritos as well as water, socks, blankets, toiletries, and other necessities to people in need.
